Troubleshooting the "Error Forming The Transaction Request. (148,1)" when Starting a Planning Engine or Running a Supply Planning Process (Doc ID 1582338.1)

Purpose

This Knowledge Document lists known issues at the origin of the below error and provides information to help you troubleshoot it.

Error Forming The Transaction Request. (148,1)


This error may be issued when running various process within Supply Planning such as:

* 'MRP Solver' process (PL_RUN_MRP) (navigation: Supply Planning, Solve Plan, Initiate Material Solver)
*'Feasible Solver' Process (PL_RUN_FSBL) (navigation: Supply Planning, Solve Plan, Initiate Feasible Solver)
* 'Extract Pegging Information' process (PL_PEGGING) (navigation: Supply Planning, Solve Plan, Extract Pegging Information)

It may be issued too when starting the Planning Engine for example by running the 'Optimization Table Load' process (PL_LOAD_OPT) with the 'Post-Load Auto-Startup' check box selected on the Run Control page.

The error can be found in the Message Log of the process which is failing.



From an Analytic Server perspective, the following errors can be found in the log file:

Transaction failed due to exception. Planning engine needs to be restarted.

 

PSPAL: Abort: Unrecoverable exception received
