EPY: Zero Retro Pays are not Always Automatically Canceled by Retro Load to Paysheets (Doc ID 1583349.1)

Symptoms

Per PeopleSoft Enterprise Payroll for North America 9.1 PeopleBook > Processing Retro Pay > Understanding the Retroactive Pay Load Paysheets Process

When processing retro requests that did not produce any retro pay, the Retroactive Pay Load Paysheets process cancels the retro request with a cancellation reason of ZR (zero retro).

Zero retro cancellations is not always occurring.  Automatic cancellation does not occur when:

1. the earnings code with the zero retro pay amount is neither eligible nor defined on the retro program definition

2. and no other retro pay earnings calculated for the employee are eligible and defined on the retro program

These zero retros have to be cancelled manually.
