PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

WORKFORCE_SYNC message is transformed on the HCM system from INTERNAL to VERSION_1 with the transform program WORK_SYNCV1.

The message is transfered to Financials (FIN) where it gets processed (no transform). The following error is received:

A fatal PeopleCode SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details. We have examined our logs (after tracing was turned on) and got the SQL-error: ORA-01722: invalid number.

After examining the messages the presence of , (comma) instead of . (period) in number fields were detected.

On the HRMS system, both the untransformed message and the transformed message as displayed. The untransformed message contains . (period) in number fields, the transformed message contains , (comma) in number fields.

After we edited the XML on the FIN system and replaced the , (comma) with . (period) the message processes fine.

Is it possible to force the system to use . (period) instead of , (comma) on the HRMS system?
