Phone type prompt does not work with customized view in Template Based Hire
Steps to Replicate:
Navigate to Set Up HRMS > Product Related > Workforce Administration > Template-Based Hire > Template Section
Under Section Fields > Field PHONE_TYPE > click on Field Configuration
In DEMO, Prompt Table points to PSXLATITEM and Prompt Field points to XLATLONGNAME.
The users did not want phone type BUSN to show in the template, therefore a view was created which excluded BUSN phone type. Even after the change, BUSN phone type still appears in template base hire.
Create SQL view
FROM PSXLATITEM A
WHERE A.FIELDNAME ='PHONE_TYPE'
AND A.EFFDT= (
FROM PSXLATITEM A1
WHERE A1.FIELDNAME = A.FIELDNAME
AND A1.FIELDVALUE = A.FIELDVALUE
AND A1.EFFDT < %CurrentDateIn)
AND A.EFF_STATUS ='A'
AND A.FIELDVALUE NOT IN ('BUSN')
and change the prompt value to SQL view
