Symptoms

When attempting to build a Compensation Cycle using a Configurable Matrix with Source Type Ratios (Compa-Ratio or Percent-In-Range), where the group contains an employee who was hired between the cycle begin and end dates, the following error occurs:

REPLICATION STEPS:
-----------------------

1.  Define a group containing individuals that were hired within the time frame covered by the compensation cycle.
2. Create Configurable Matrix using Compa-Ratio as Source and define 2 or 3 Range Breakpoints.
3. Define a compensation cycle referring to the configurable matrix and group.
4. Build the cycle.

Process ends with the error shown above.


Due to this issue, the compensation cycle cannot be run if the group includes employees that were hired during the cycle begin and end dates
