Error: "Data being updated does not exist. (18,4)" is Received when Saving an eProcurement Requisition after Deleting Both Line Comments and Attachments (Doc ID 1597775.1)

Symptoms

 An error is received when saving eProcurement Requisition after deleting both comments and attachments. The MULTI_COMMENTS role action is not enabled for this issue.

Error:  Data being updated does not exist. (18,4)
When trying to save your changes, the system could not find the existing data in the database.



Steps to recreate the issue - Scenario 1:

  1. Create an eProcurement requisition
  2. Enter Line Comments and Attachment. Add comments and attachment at Requisition Line
  3. Save and submit the requisition
  4. Edit requisition
  5. Delete comments and attachment    
  6. Save and submit the requisition again
  7. Error is received.    



Steps to recreate the issue - Scenario 2:

  1. Create a requisition for multiple lines say 3 lines
  2. Add multiple lines and add comments for each line
  3. Enter comments and attachments for the first line, Second line and subsequently third line    
  4. Save and submit
  5. Press edit requisition
  6. Try to delete comments for the first line
  7. Try to delete comments for the second line
  8. Try to delete comments for the third line
  9. Save and submit     
  10. Error is received.
