Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Contracts - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The Customer Contract Summary page displays the incorrect Project Status value when the Project linked to the contract has more than one proejct status effective sequence for the maximium project status effective date. The code behind the page uses max(effective date) logic but it does not use max(effective sequence) logic when selecting data from the PROJECT_STATUS page.

Replication steps:

1. Project 3650 has 2 project status values under the 07/25/2012 effective date. The effect sequence distinguishes the 2 values.
Sequence 0 - Pending
Sequence 1 - Budget
2. The 3650 project is associated to the 112 customer contract.
3. In Customer Contract Summary page, it displayed the status as Pending.

Expected result:
The Budget (B) project status value to be displayed on the Contract Summary page since that is the value with the max effective date and max effective sequence.

Actual Result:
The Pending (P) project status value is displayed on the Contract Summary page because the code behind the CA_CONTR_SUM_PNL page does not include max effective sequence logic when selecting value from PROJECT_STATUS table.
