Information in this document applies to any platform.
While starting a guest VM (virtual machine) in Oracle VM Manager, the guest does not start but produces an error message similar to:
Server error message: Command: ['xm', 'create', '/OVS/Repositories/0004xxxx/VirtualMachines/0004fxxxxx/vm.cfg'] failed (1): stderr: Error: HVM guest support is unavailable: is VT/AMD-V supported by your CPU and enabled in your BIOS? stdout: Using config file "/OVS/Repositories/0004xxxx/VirtualMachines/0004fxxxxx/vm.cfg"
