EEX 9.2: Getting Peoplecode Error (2,684) at TE_CANCEL_TAUTH.GBL.EX_ICLIENT_WRK.CANCEL_PB.FieldChange When Cancelling Travel Authorization if Commitment Control Is Enabled (Doc ID 1602370.1)

Symptoms

An Error Message is being faced by the Users whenever an unused, budget checked, and approved Travel Authorization is being manually cancelled.

REPLICATION STEPS:

    1.- Log into the FSCM 9.2 Online Application as a System Administrator
    2.- Navigate to: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options > Commitment Control
    3.- Ensure the 'Online Mode' check-box is selected
    4.- Log into the FSCM 9.2 Online Application as an Expenses Employee
    5.- Create and submit for approval a new Travel Authorization
    6.- Log into the FSCM 9.2 Online Application as an Expenses Approver
    7.- Proceed to budget check, and approve the Travel Authorization
    8.- Log into the FSCM 9.2 Online Application as an Expenses Employee
    9.- Navigate to: Employee Self-Service > Travel and Expenses Center > Travel Authorization > Cancel
    10.- Proceed to select, and cancel the recently approved Travel Authorization
    11.- PROBLEM: The system throws an Error Message

ERROR MESSAGE:

    " Invalid function sequence: DoSave(Now) and CallAppEngine in the same event. (2,684)

      TE_CANCEL_TAUTH.GBL.EX_ICLIENT_WRK.CANCEL_PB.FieldChange PCPC:855 Statement:9

      The DoSave (or DoSaveNow) function and the CallAppEngine function cannot both be used in the same PeopleCode event. "


Users are getting confused, as such Error Message leads to indicate as something went wrong with the cancelled Travel Authorization.

The system should not throw such Error Message.
