For tax audits starting from 1st of January 2014, there is a new obligation for all taxpayers to hand their book-keeping to the tax administration in an electronic format. As a result, companies must be able to extract from their accounting software the information required by the tax administration in a single file per fiscal year: “the accounting entries’ file”, in French, the FEC, “Fichier des Enregistrements Comptables”.
