The Unprocessed Reported Time page returns employees who have no matching time on reported time and payable time. Customer has traced/tracked this issue down to the TL_UNPROC_RP_VW, which should have as part of its field
structure the key field from both Reported and Payable Time SEQ_NBR. When the SEQ_NBR field is added to the record structure and SQL the bug disappears and results are displayed correctly. Customer found hours were dropping from
Reported time due to the union in the view SQL when an employee reports the same number of hours on the same day to the same TRC but to different data elements (such as department or activity).
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. An employee reporting to standard hours worked on 10/30/2013 for 4 hours to activity 300 and 4 hours without an activity with the same TRC and it is in Need Approval Status.
2. On the Unprocessed Reported Time summary page, only 4 hours showing on the page.
3. The same is true for a payable time.
The payroll manager uses this page to identify any one that needs to process through time admin before loading time to payroll. Since this page does not work correctly it is causing them delays in their payroll process.
