I have the following questions for a Benefits/Leave Accruals Specialist -
Is it OK for us to Run the Leave accrual processing on 12/16/2013, for the leave accrual date of 1/1/2014?
We normally only run leave accruals for an effective date that is already past, and the payrolls for that date have already been confirmed. However in this case, I will need to run the leave accrual for a FUTURE date, and for which the payroll has not been confirmed yet. I just want to make sure that this does not mess up anything else. We need to run this effective date of 1/1/2014 - to be able to award the 2014 Leave balances to active employees. Our leave policy allows them to receive the 2014 Annual Leave awards for the entire year, on the first day of the pay period that is paid out in 2014, which is 12/16/2013. Can someone from Benefits/Leave Accruals area help me understand that this will not mess up anything in PeopleSoft Benefits/Payroll/Time&Labor? We currently use all 3 modules?
