ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Document Sequence Number is missing when reversing and unposting a journal.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Document Sequence Number should be generated when reversing and unposting a journal.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


Test 1: Unpost Journal.

  1. Create a new journal.
  2. Edit and post journal online.
  3. Click on Doc Seq link on journal lines page and Document Sequence Number is generated.
  4. Navigate to General Ledger > Journals > Process Journals > Mark Journals for Unposting and select journal for unposting.
  5. Unpost Selected Journals.
  6. Click on Doc Seq link on journal lines page and Document Sequence number is missing!


Test 2: Reversal Journal.

  1. Create a new journal.
  2. Edit and post journal online.
  3. Click on Doc Seq link on journal lines page and Document Sequence Number is generated.
  4. Copy journal (online) to generate a reversal (beginning of next period).
  5. New journal is generated and Document Sequence Number is also generated.
  6. Edit and post reversal journal online.
  7. Click on Doc Seq link on journal lines page and Document Sequence number is missing!
