Information in this document applies to any platform.
After configuring SSL for the REN server, the Application Server will no longer start. It issues an error when starting the PSRENSRV process. Example:
There is only one root certificate in the PeopleSoft "Digital Certificates" page.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Configure SSL on REN server
2. Remove all root certificates, from Digital Certificates page, except for the root certificate that the REN server certificate is using
3. Start app server. The app server fails to start and the REN server log shows the error noted above
