On : 9.1 version, Time Administration
When Time Admin is processed for entire group of exception time reporters, employees with no comptime earned or taken in the current period of interest have the balances go to zero in error. These employees did not have any earned or taken comptime within the period only regular or scheduled payable time is being created. However, it does appear that the comptime portion of time admin did reprocess these employees and upon encountering the 'x' row with nothing else zeroed out their balances. Apparently, other employees in the batch that do have comptime earned and/or taken is calling the comptime program and it's processing for all employees within the batch.
Employee's with no comptime taken or earned should not be recalculated by the comptime portion of Time Admin, or if processed should not reset the balances to zero if an X row is found but no taken or earned is also being processed.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Comptime plan that expires
2. several employees all in the same workgroup assigned to that plan have x rows at beginning of period of interest
- one ee has comptime earned and taken
- one ee has only comptime taken
- one ee has no comptime earned or taken
Due to this issue, users cannot depend on the comptime balance being correct after Time Admin is run.
