(Doc ID 1625269.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 20, 2025
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM ePerformance - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
ISSUE 1. The weight defined at the template definition level can be edited by the employee, when the Weight Section check box is unchecked under the Evaluation role/rule in the template so the manager and the employee should not be allowed to change the weight.
ISSUE 2. When the weights are updated the weighted section can then add up to more than 100% which is also incorrect.
REPLICATION STEPS
=================
1. Create a performance document as an employee from Self Service and complete the establish criteria and save.
2. Employee can again edit the document and change the weight (even if the template configuration does not allow the user to do so) so that the weight is more than 100 and the document again gets saved.
3. Same is applicable for managers as well, when a document is created through Manager Self Service
4. The weight defined in the template can be changed and the performance document can be saved even if the total section weight is more than 100%.
