Wrong Amount Awarded for Pell Based on Pell LEU Calculated Too High by NSLDS Push (Doc ID 1631524.1)

Last updated on JUNE 03, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running NSLDS Push for two aid years, the LEU amount being pushed to the Pell aggregate is too high for the older aid year - e.g. 2020. The amount being pushed is from the newest ISIR, for the newer aid year - e.g. 2021 - and so includes amounts awarded in the older year.

This issue may first be noticed when a Pell is awarded for an amount less than expected, and further investigation reveals the amount was reduced based on the LEU.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Load ISIR for one aid year, e.g. 2021
  2. Run NSLDS Push for previous aid year, e.g. 2020
