When user unposts a journal with reversal, The entries end up like this:
Jul-31-2012 - Seq 0 - Original journal - Status now Unposted
Jul-31-2012 - Seq 1 - Unposting of original journal - Status now "V" ( or "N")
Aug-01-2012 - Seq 0 - Reversal entry - Status now Unposted
Aug-01-2012 - Seq 1 - Unposting of reversal entry - Status was "V" ( or "N")
In the JRNL_HEADER table, the JOURNAL_HDR_STATUS of the original journal's (UNPOST_SEQ =0) are 'U'. This is correct.
However the unposting journal (UNPOST_SEQ = 1) are stuck in 'N' or 'V' status.
There is no error message while trying to edit the journal however the journal status will stay in 'N' or 'V'
The ledger integrity is preserved.
