ELM 9.X: From Enroll Learner Page, Not Able to Search for Learner (Doc ID 1663301.1)

Symptoms

From Enroll Learners, not able to search for Learner if Name Type Preferred (PRF) exists for a Learner with Future or History Effective Date.

 
 

Steps to Replicate Issue:

 
1. Ensure integrated HRMS service Operation PERSON_BASIC_SYNC with ELM 9.1 service Operation PERSON_BASIC_SYNC  
2.  Log in HRMS as an Administrator and navigate to Main Menu >Workforce Administration > Person Information > Biographical > Modify a Person
    Then,  add a new future dated row and modify Name and save
3.  PERSON_BASIC_SYNC message published in HRMS and subscribed to ELM and exist in the ELM staging table, successfully.
4.  In ELM, logged in as Administrator, navigate to Main Menu > Set up ELM > Process Asynchronous Data and run process.
5.  Once process completes, verify future dated row exists for Learner Main Menu > Enterprise Learning > User Profile > Internal Learner
6.  Once again, log in HRMS as an Administrator and navigate to Main Menu >Workforce Administration > Person Information > Biographical >Additional Names
    Then,  add Type of Name "Preferred" from Dropdownlist and {click} Add new name with a new future dated row and enter Name and save

7.  PERSON_BASIC_SYNC message published in HRMS and subscribed to ELM and exist in the ELM staging table, successfully.
8.  In ELM, logged in as Administrator, navigate to Main Menu > Set up ELM > Process Asynchronous Data and run process.
9.  Once process completes, verify future dated row exists for Learner Main Menu > Enterprise Learning > User Profile > Internal Learner
10. Navigate to Main Menu > Enterprise Learning >Learner Tasks > Enroll Learners
11. {search/select} Requester in Learner Group for the Learner you are enrolling
12. {search/select} Activity to enroll Learner
13. {click hourglass} for the Learner field and search for Learner by last name , notice Learner no longer available in list.
