On : 9.1 version, Time Administration
Employee with multiple jobs in the same workgroup is getting incorrect payable time from the overtime rule. Paying overtime on both jobs in error.
Overtime should have been paid on one of the jobs but not both.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Use employee with multiple jobs 0 & 1 both in same workgroup
2. both jobs have same raw punch pattern:
2/3 = In 8, Temp Out 12, In 1, Out 6pm
2/4 = In 8, Temp Out 12, In 1, Out 6pm
2/5 = IN 8 and OUT 5PM
2/6 = IN 8 and OUT 5PM
each job has 45 hours worked for a total of 90 hours, which should have been paid for 40 Reg and 50 Overtime, instead employee was paid 32 regular and 58 overtime.
The issue has the following business impact:
Employee is not paid correctly, grossly overpaid
