Enhancement Request to Not Publish ADVANCED_SHIPPING_NOTICE Messages for Sales Orders with an Order Date or a Shipment Date < Date when the Customer Contact Has Been Made ASN Enabled (Doc ID 1669815.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Inventory - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using the 'All Shipments' option to publish ADVANCED_SHIPPING_NOTICE Messages (ASN) (navigation: SCM Integrations, Publish Outbound Message - Option: Advanced Shipping Notices), Messages are published for ALL Sales Order which have not been processed yet (PS_IN_DEMAND.EDI_DT_TIME = NULL) provided that the Customer Contact at the Sales Order level is ASN enabled. As a result, you may end up having thousands of ASN's published for old Sales Orders = Sales Orders which have been created for that Customer Contact long before he or she has been made ASN enabled.

This Enhancement Request is to make sure that no ASN is published for Sales Orders with an Order Date or a Shipment Date < date when the Customer Contact has been made ASN enabled.
