ETL9.x: TL_COMPLEAV_TBL Is Not Updated By Time Admin For Rule Generated TRC With Effect On Leave.

1. Why is the TL COMPLEAV table not being updated by Time Admin, when a TRC with effect on Leave is generated by a rule?
2. Do you have a suggestions on how to pay hours for future periods that have an effect on leave balances and cannot be processed in the current pay period?
We are in Production with TL and PNA.
We are not ‘submitting’ the TRC which has an effect on Leave on the timesheet or mass/rapid/tcd interface.
We have a very manual process to pay employees vacation pay in advance of their actual vacation time. We do this manually, since Time and Labor Load process does not send future time to payroll.
We use 2 TRC’s – one to report the ‘vacation in advance’ (CVCAV) and the other that is triggered via a rule to generate another a ‘Rules Only’ TRC (CVCHR) that has an effect on Leave (Leave Taken) and also goes to payroll and thereafter processed through the Leave Accrual which ultimately also needs to update the TL_COMPLEAV_TBL.
When TA is run we expect that since the TRC is setup to effect the Leave, that the balance would be updated but it is not.
We want to use TL reporting to submit a TRC for Vacation in Advance (CVCAV) which is the trigger for the Template020 rule that should replace all CVCAV reported hours with Vacation Taken (CVCHR) payable hours and have an effect on the Leave balances.
We found that running Time Admin and creating payable time using the TRC that is set up as "leave taken", does not do anything in the TL_COMPLEAV_TBL and consequently the balance on the timesheet. We continue through to payroll and then the leave accrual, and we find that the hours for the TRC created by the rule are Sent to Payroll, and the leave accrual is updated with the unprocessed hours and finally when the accrual is run, we end up with negative hours in the TL QUANTITY and so, the timesheet balance is out of sync.
