Customer has an employee who is vision impaired and here are his challenges with the current T&L Self Services Timesheet -
Employee uses Java Access With Speech (J.A.W.S) to navigate our web page, but once he is in the timesheet there is no guidance. With J.A.W.S., the voice will prompt him on when to enter user name and password.
The employee has no guidance once in the time and labor system and must rely on his memory of the timesheet prior to losing his vision. Is there anything that can help an employee entering time?
1. In PIA, navigate to "My Personalization"
2. In "General Options", click on "Personalize Option"
3. For "Accessibility Features", set Override value = "Use accessibility layout mode".
4. Click OK.
5. Click on "Sign out" link
6. When Timesheet is opened it does not set focus on any field, so JAWS does not read anything.
