The Components of a Quantity Per 'Order' Phantom Item Are Not Exploded onto the Component List Correctly (Doc ID 1684445.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Manufacturing - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You observe that when a Phantom Item is added to a Bill of Material (BOM) and the Phantom is Quantity Per 'Order', the Quantity Per is not being honored when a Production Order (PID) is created and the Component List exploded. Specifically, the Components of the Phantom Item are added to the PID Component List with the Quantity Per defined for those Components on the Phantom Item's BOM. Instead, they should have been added with a Quantity Per 'Order'

If the Phantom Quantity Per 'Asy' then the current behavior works fine, the Components of the Phantom carry their Quantity Per to the Component List.
