Applies to:PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.53 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
On PeopleTool 8.53 there are two options related to securing a Peoplesoft REST Service, "User/Password Required" and "Req Verification".
- What are the purposes of these two options and their relation to each other?
- How to properly pass the user credentials from a third party client?
- In the generated WADL, when "User/Password Required" is checked and "Req Verification" is "None", the generated WADL has no authentication parameters.
But when "Req Verification"="Basic Authentication", no matter "User/Password Required" status, generated WADL do have authentication parameter, why so?
- What does it mean style="header" in the generated WADL authentication parameter, and how to use it when consuming the WADL document?
