E-PORTAL: Different Firefox and Chrome browser behavior with missing Images or Icons in Portal Interaction Hub aggregating remote content trough pagelets or modal pages (Doc ID 1904480.1)

Symptoms

Test Scenario #1

When a remote pagelet is loaded into the Interaction Hub environment, images are not loaded after personalizing the pagelet. This issue is particularly happening for HCM pagelets: Direct Line Reports, Pending Approvals etc. This issue happens for SSL and non-SSL environments

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The images should load after personalization

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set up the remote pagelet in Interaction Hub
2. Click to personalize the pagelet
3. Cancel out of the personalization
4. Notice that the images are not loading.

 

Test scenario #2

In Firefox and Chrome there are PeopleTools images that are being called with the PeopleSoft secondary page using DoModal method which shows an "X" and a resize picture in upper and lower right hand side of the pop up window.

Issue is that when accesing Campus Solutions through the Interaction Hub on Firefox or Chrome, the images are not rendering correctly.

Steps to recreate:
1. Log into Interaction Hub
2. Select Application Template
3. Click Start Application
4. Navigatie to the Education link in the Left Nav Menu of the ONline App
5. Select the Radial for "attend HS in the US" and click HIgh School Search button

Results:
Firefox 28 and below: the images are replaced with words - Close and Resize
Chrome : Broken link images are displayed
IE; Correct images shown.
