E-IB: Sample Code to Populate and Update a Document Object with a Rowset Relational Structure (Doc ID 1905067.1)

Last updated on MARCH 09, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.53 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Background on why Document object has to be used: Rowset messages are generally used when the messages are triggered from online components. Business requirement needs to populate data from component buffer to iScript as a global variable. Rowset object can not be passed directly to iScript neither do iScripts have the ability to access the component buffer. The idea will be to pass rowset from component buffer to a Document object and then pass the Document object to isScript.

In PeopleBooks >  PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.53 > PeopleSoft Integration Broker > Populating and Retrieving Document Data, there is a pseudo code about Populating Documents Using Rowsets but there is no sample code.

How to populate a Document object with a Rowset of multiple rows?
