Code Z - Compassionate care/Parents of Critically Ill Children
 
Use Code Z if the employee is leaving the workplace temporarily to claim compassionate care benefits, or benefits for parents of critically ill children.
Customer is looking for a job data action_reason, 3 digit code for a new type of employment insurance introduced June 9, 2013 as in the past legislated changes are supported by Oracle. The new EI is called Parents of Critically Ill Children (PCIC) and it is not one in the same as EI called Compassionate Care Leave, as the leave for Parents of Critically Ill Children is up to 35 weeks and Compassionate Care leave is 8 weeks, plus they serve different purposes.
