In Maintain Succession Plan page, if one sets the Search Method as “Ad-Hoc Criteria” and search with appropriate criteria like Position Number, Business Unit, Job Code, Department or Location Code along with ‘Years of Service’, even though everything matches that of an Employee or a CWR, search result doesn’t show any result.

However, if one adjusts the Employee Hiring Effective Date, and search again, the Employee is shown in the search result, which leads us to the conclusion that the functioning of “Years of Service” field is incorrect.

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Organizational Development > Succession Planning > Maintain Succession Plans
2. Search for a Plan I D
3. Click ‘Search’ button
4. Go to ‘Candidates’ tab
5. Select Search Method = ‘Ad-Hoc Criteria’. Enter ‘Years of Service’ = 11 – 15 years
6. Click ‘Find Candidates’ button
7. The search result returns no rows
