Getting XML Parser Error When Uploading Contract Document

Goal
Users create a Document, click on Edit Document to checkout and then while importing back (checking in back) then getting the following Error:
"XML parser error CreateXmlDoc Fatal Error: at file line: 0 column: 0 message: An exception occurred! Type:RuntimeException, Message:The primary document entity could not be opened. Id=/tmp/Stanford_DAS.xml (159,5) SCM_CS_DOC_MGMT.Controller.Doc_Controller.OnExecute Name:ProcessFile PCPC:141667 Statement:2407
Called from:SCM_CS_DOC_MGMT.Controller.Doc_Controller.OnExecute Name:Checkin Statement:787
Called from:CS_DOC_WRK4.OK_PB.FieldChange Statement:1"
Tried checking in the document a few times and got the error...then on the 4th try it checked in successfully
