HC_HRS_APPLICATION_CONTENT Search Definition Keeps Failing and Crawler Status is Not Crawled (Doc ID 1912255.1)

Symptoms

SES HC_HRS_APPLICATION_CONTENT required more than 73 hours to complete a full index build.  

The HC_HRS_APPLICATION_CONTENT search definition index build generated and indexed a total of 992K documents, finishing successfully in 73 hours and 25 minutes (just over 3 days).  The generation of the feed (documents to be crawled by SES) by the AE took approximately 68 hours.  The SES crawler took 5.5 hours to complete the crawl of the generated documents.   

The main driving SELECT (see Library AE: HRS_STG_ACNT, Section: STGACTNT, Step: Step02) from the PS_HRS_APPLCANT_VW view returns approximately 484,000 rows to be evaluated and processed by the AE.

REPLICATION STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Deploy Search Definition HC_HRS_APPLICATION_CONTENT  - PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Deploy/Delete Object
2. Navigation : PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule
3. Search  Index
4. Add Run Control ID
5. Enter Search Definition : HC_HRS_APPLICATION_CONTENT
6. Select Full index
7. Select All Language
8. Save and Run the Process
