Last updated on SEPTEMBER 10, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM eProfile - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Name change, Address change and Marital status change triggers legacy workflow. Now under Set Up HRMS, the system can be configured to have a different administrator role other than "Personnel admin". On changing the role in "workflow configuration page", email is not sent to the new administrator role. System is still looking for "Personnel admin" role and not triggering emails to the administrator.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup HRMS> Common Definition > Workflow configuration . Change the role for "Name change" , "address change" and "Marital status "
2. Login to PIA and from Self Service change any of the self service actions like name change or Marital status change or everything that is available under Self Service.
3. Email(s) are not triggered to the Administrator with the new role.
