The User Defined Fields on the Supplier Contract Search Content page do not return results when doing partial searches

Partial SES Search (Wildcard search) on User Defined Fields in Supplier Contracts doesn't work
Steps:
-------
1. Enable User Defined Fields
1.a Navigate to Supplier Contracts > Supplier Contracts Setup > User Defined Fields
1.b Enable a few Character User Defined Fields
1.c Check the 'Use in Searching' Checkbox for all such fields
1.d Navigate to Supplier Contracts > Manage Contract Library > Document Types
1.e Make sure the Character User Defined Fields are enabled
1.f Navigate to Supplier Contracts > Create Contracts and Documents > Document Management
1.g Add a new Document for a Purchasing Contract (or any) and document type as Standard Contract Document (or any)
1.h In the next page (Create Document page) populate the User Defined Fields and Save the page.
1.i Deploy Search Definition EP_CS_DOC_CONTRACTS (or associated) and Run the incremental search index.
2.Navigate to Supplier Contracts > Search Content > Search Content
2.a Put in a full value for one of the User Defined fields and perform the search. Search will return the document just added
2.b Put in a partial value for one of the User Defined fields and perform the search. Search should return the document just added
