The Basic Add, Define Asset Operational Information, and Retire/Reinstate Asset components always display all pages, including work pages that should be hidden.
What must be changed in order to display the components correctly?
The Define Asset Operational Information menu option uses the Basic Add component. Different pages should display depending on whether the user navigated to Basic Add or to Define Asset Operational Information.
This solution also ensures that Basic Add and Define Asset Operational Information display different pages.
Reason why the Work pages appear:
The Work pages are included in the component to provide a storage area for data while the component is being processed. They are not meant to be viewed or used by the customer. They are meant for internal processing only. Ideally, the work pages should not be displayed. We found that the work pages were displayed for the Basic Add, Define Asset Operational Information and Retire/Reinstate Asset components if the User had the "PeopleSoft Administrator" Role defined.
Work Page Headings:
Asset Entry Work
Asset Book Work
Open Transaction Work
Joint Venture Work
Asset Retire Work
Request 2 Work
Retire Wrk Au
