GPSGP: Enhancement To Have Effective Date For Worker Type
Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2016
Applies to:PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS Global Payroll Singapore - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When the Citizenship Status of a foreign worker changes, the effective date of the old and new status are not captured in the system. For e.g., Work Permit to S-Pass, Employment Pass to PR etc. Similarly when Unskilled Worker becomes Skilled Worker.
There is a need for HR users to track these dates. Currently companies are using the Permanent Status Date to track the effective date, but this would not allow them to keep history.
Also retro triggers need to be generated for Citizenship Status change. For e.g., when there is a backdated change of Foreign Worker to PR, CPF has to be calculated from the date that employee becomes PR.
