Is the section for ethnic self identification in PeopleSoft available or to be made available in the future for Canadian applicants?
Referring to Employment Equity Act (an excerpt) - The Employment Equity Plan. The workforce analysis revealed several employment equity occupational groups (EEOG) where members of the designated groups are under-represented relative to their availability in the external recruitment areas. The four designated groups are women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities. The ESR revealed a number of barriers related to the nine employment systems: recruitment, selection, hiring, training, development, promotion, accommodation, retention and termination.
Can we set this up on the Applicant side to capture minority details, and aborigine status?
