E-REN: Application Engine Reports Fail to Distribute in Last Step With Incorrect Formed URL or Site Name Invalid (Doc ID 1928593.1)

Symptoms

When a database is upgraded or refreshed from another environment ( e.g test is refreshed from prod ) , Application Engine reports being run  to Window fail with incorrect site name in URL.  Although the report node definition page was configured to point to the correct locations and have the correct URL, the URL (in this example prod) is still referencing the environment from which the database is refreshed or upgraded. However, reports can be viewed from the Process Monitor. If you change the URL in the output window to the correct site, the report displays as expected.
