EGL9.2: Chartfield Configuration Process Does Not Update The Record Field Property Key Order. (Doc ID 1930646.1)

Symptoms

On :  9.2 version, ChartField Configuration

CF Configuration process does not update the record field property  

Background- Upgrading the PeopleSoft FSCM application from v9.1/v8.52 to v9.2/v8.53 (PI-6).

Activated CHARTFIELD1 .
Charfield Configuration Process goes to success.
Process marks the activated CHARTFIELD1 as “Key” in Chartfield record but does not update the Key Order.
Above is also confirmed by querying CHARTFIELD1 related rows in PSKEYDEFN and KEYPOSN.

As such index alter/creation script generated for chartfield record does not contain activated chartfield as index column

EXPECT OUTCOME
----------------------------------
CHARTFIELD1 is marked as key fields and with key order.
It is also added to the index for all concerned tables/records.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Activate CHARTFIELD1 .
2. Run chartfield configuration process
3. Process runs to success.
    However, charfield1 is marked as “Key” in Chartfield record but is not updated with key order.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, index alter/creation script generated for chartfield record does not contain activated chartfield as index column, which will leads to unique constraint error later on at various page/process.
