Goal

Create a rate set and choose the Rate Option "MUP". Enter a Rate Amount 1.123456 and Target Analysis Type "BIL". Save the page.

Check the box "Override Source" and enter a Wild Card (%) in the Target Source Type, Category, Subcategory and To Currency USD. Save the page.

PROBLEM: Notice that the Rate Amount is being rounded to 2 decimals to 1.12. Change the Rate Amount back to 1.123456. Save the page. An error "Number Field Format Error" is returned.

When choosing the Rate Option "MUP", the rate amount is used by the PC_PRICING as a multiplier for the source amount to calculate the resource amount and should not be currency controlled. The system should allow you to enter a rate amount with 6 decimals, when you choose the Rate Option "MUP".

When the Rate Option "AMT" is chosen, then the field Rate Amount is allowed to be currency controlled.
