ETL| Date Format On The Timesheet Page (Doc ID 1936851.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Release: HCM TL 9.2

Though the date is set to YYMMDD (this is the standard date format in Japan) as the date format on the personalization page,
the date format on the date prompts of time entry field for each day shows DDMM.

The standard data format in Japan are;

Year/Month/Date: YYMMDD
Month/Date: MMDD

So that, the date format DDMM which shows on the Timesheet entry does not match to the Japanese standard format.

This issue has been addressed as Bug 11626008 - PSFT 2006348000-ETL9.1: DATE FORMAT ON THE TIMESHEET PAGE IS NOT AS PER THE REGI, and that bug status is 92 (Closed Not a Bug).
However, a few customers disagree with the current behavior because the date format on the Timesheet page should be able to adjust as per the local requirements.
