Information in this document applies to any platform.
It appears when submitting a timecard the system is trying to apply real time rules even though on the TL Installation page Real Time Rules are not Enabled.
Steps to Recreate:
1. Set TL_Installations table to Real Time Rules are not Enabled. Also make sure Run As Part of Submit Time is unselected.
2. Pull up an Employee enter hours on the timesheet for the current week, but do not submit yet.
3. Open a new window to pull up Time Reporter Data for the same employee. Insert a new row with effective date set to beginning of the current period and Save.
4. Now go back to the timesheet page and submit and you will see Exception message generated.
Unable to prevent real time rules from triggering even though configuration is set to do so. This causes confusion for users.
