EAR9.1: Changing Due Date or Any Other Field Using Multi-item Update in Collections Workbench Does not Work.

On : 9.1 version, Collections Workbench

Changing Due Date or any other field using Multi-item Update in Collections Workbench does not work.

Changing Due Date and other fields using Multi-item Update in Collections Workbench should work.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. 1Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Customer Accounts > Collections Workbench.
  2. Enter value for SetID, Unit and Customer.
  3. Level = No Relationship.
  4. Go to tab 'Items'.
  5. Select multiple items.
  6. Go to Item Action, select Choice = Multi-item Update and click GO.
  7. Mass Update, update all fields (Credit Analyst, Collector, Sales Person, AR Specialist, Deduction Reason, Dispute Reason, Collection Reason, Due Date, Payment Method, Payment Terms and Broker ID) and click OK.
  8. Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Customer Accounts > Item Information > View/Update Item Details and not a single field is updated!
  9. When only trying to update field Due Date for both items it also does not work. So it does not matter if you update one field or several fields because in the end it does not work.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot update item due date using Multi-item Update.
