EAP: Request DAS2 Report for France to Include All Professional Services (Doc ID 1947880.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 07, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Payables - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The DAS2 report is not necessarily about just withholding. It is meant to detail all professional services invoiced for a given year even when France is not set up for Withholding. It should list all professional service suppliers and the amounts invoiced by that supplier in a particular year whether withholding is deducted or not.

Also, if withholding is set up with 0% withholding, it is expected to include those transactions in the report.

Currently the DAS2 report is considered a withholding report, and it will only work for Withholding applicable vendors, where withholding is calculated. Also, for 0% withholding, there is no calculated withholding so the system does not include the transactions in the report.

1. Enter vouchers for non-withholding vendor, for withholding vendor with zero percent withholding and for withholding voucher with 10% withholding.
(Navigation: Accounts Payable > Vouchers > Add/Updates > Regular Entry)

2. Run pay cycle
(Navigation: Accounts Payable > Payments > Pay Cycle Processing > Pay Cycle Manager)

3. Rerun pay cycle to pay withholding schedule
(Navigation: Accounts Payable > Payments > Pay Cycle Processing > Pay Cycle Manager)

4. Post the vouchers
(Navigation: Accounts Payable > Batch Processes > Vouchers > Voucher Posting)

5. Post the payments
(Navigation: Accounts Payable > Batch Processes > Payment > Payment Posting)

6. Run post withholdings
(Navigation: Suppliers > 1099/Global Withholding > Maintain > Post Withholdings)

There is a statutory requirement to file a DAS2 report detailing all professional fees paid for in a given year.
