EAM: Questions on Absence Delegation (Doc ID 1949294.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS Absence Management - Version 9 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

1. When there is an active delegation only the Proxy is able to view the pending absence requests for the reporting employees of the Delegator. Original Manager or Delegator cannot view the pending absence requests

2.When the delegation is active and Proxy submits a leave for himself. Will this get approved or gets routed to Proxy's Manager? In this case if Proxy's Manager is the delegator, to whom will it get routed to?

3. Manager A delegates his absence transaction to the employee B, Employee B has accepted the delegation and is given access to MSS.
Manager A still has access to MSS and continues to enter leave on behalf of staff. When Manager A enters the leave in MSS it is no longer automatically approved but sits as "submitted".
The expectation is, any leave entered on behalf of an employee within MSS should be automatically approved irrespective of delegation is active or not.
