E-LDAP: All LDAP Users are Unable to Log In After LDAP User Greater Than 32 Characters Attempts to Log In (Doc ID 1953952.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


On PeopleTools 8.54.04, when a user with LDAP ID greater than 32 characters tries to log in, then no other users are able to log in.  Only PeopleSoft users are able to log in.  The following error message is shown:


'Exception happened while creating context'

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. login PIA by entering user id and password.  The user id has to be more than 32 characters long.  It does not matter the user is valid or invalid.
