When running AM_CAPVAL for a non cap asset for which cost has been added to enable the asset to meet the criteria for capitalization, the activity or retire switch on the ps_cost_non_cap rows do not get incremented. This causes the asset to appear in both the NON_CAP_VW and the COST_BAL_VW table views. When running an inventory AMPI1000 to change the deptid in step 4, a unique constraint is returned.
The expectation is that the activity or retire switch on the ps_cost_non_cap rows will be updated by AM_CAPVAL to enable AMPI0000 to select and process the asset from the correct AM Table source only.
This issue can be replicated by performing the following steps:
1) Create a non cap asset via the Basic Add component.
2) Add cost to the asset via an ADD on the Basic Add component that causes the asset to meet the criteria for capitalization.
3) Run AM_CAPVAL.
4) Run the PI Physical Inventory to generate a change to the department id for the asset.
