Without a clear Description, or definition on what the Record is supposed to store, or be used for, it is not possible to understand it usage and impact in the rest of the FSCM Application.
- Log into the Application Designer of the PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM 9.1 Release
- Navigate to: File > Open
- Set the Definition = Record
- Add in the Name field one of the below listed values:
- Confirm that both the Description and Record Definition fields are blank
To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available Replication Steps Word Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the issue.
The lack of proper definition on what the affected Records are supposed to contain, or be used on, confuses the technical team that needs to perform maintenance, and FSCM Bundles installations, as the Tables are not properly categorized and identified.
All PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM delivered Records should contain proper identification on Description and Record Definition fields, so it is comprehensive their usage among the FSCM available functionality.
