The QTY_REQUESTED_BASE in the PS_IN_DEMAND Table Is Not Being Recalculated when Changing the Item on a Material Stock Request (MSR) (Doc ID 1962426.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

When changing an Item ID on a Material Stock Request (MSR) (navigation: Inventory, Fulfill Stock Orders, Stock Requests, Create/Update Stock Request), the QTY_REQUESTED_BASE in the PS_IN_DEMAND table is not being recalculated based on the Conversion Rate of the new Item Unit of Measure (UOM).

Say for example that UOM Item 1 has a Conversion Rate of 1 BOX = 6 EA and UOM Item 2 a Conversion Rate of 1 BOX = 10 EA. When changing the Item ID from Item 1 to Item 2 on a MSR line which has been created for 2 BOX, QTY_REQUESTED_BASE is still equal to 12 EA instead of 20 EA.
