EPY: Retro Pay is not Calculating Correctly when a Mid Period Adjustment is Created and Employee has Job Earnings Distribution (Doc ID 1964420.1)

Symptoms

Retroactive mid pay salary change is calculated for the entire pay period when Job Earnings Distribution is involved.  The retro pay should be prorated for just half the pay period.

This issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Set up Paygroup using percent of period
  2. Set up Job Earnings Distribution
  3. Pay employee
  4. Make a salary change mid pay period
  5. Run retro calculation


Due to this issue, employees with mid pay period retro increases are being grossly overpaid.
