Symptoms

When attempting to add a Create New Credit (MC) item directly in Maintenance Worksheet, the following error occurs.

A division by zero occurred.  Review the PeopleCode being executed to determine why the error occurred.  
Make sure that zero values are checked for and that appropriate error handling exists.

Steps To Replicate:-

  1. Set the Chartfield Inheritance Option for Fund Code and Project as Always Inherit.
  2. Create an online Pending group with two items, one credit and one debit item with the same amount.
  3. Post the Group.
  4. Create another online Pending group with two items, one credit and one debit item with the same amount.
  5. Post the Group.
  6. Create a Maintenance Worksheet and provide the two credit items created in Steps 2 and 4.
  7. Add a new row for balancing the credit items and provide entry type as Create New Credit (MC).
  8. Click save.
